Marine Safari

For lovers of nature and adventure, this activity consists of carrying out an expedition in the Pacific Ocean on the outskirts of Isla Magdalena and Isla Margarita to snorkel near schools or “balls” of fish: Macarela Sardina Monterrey; with which striped marlin generally feed, in their feeding sites, outside Magdalena Bay; in the open sea of the Pacific Ocean. It is a wonderful sight to observe this fish hunting for food in its natural environment. Likewise, it is very exciting that on the journey, while the smaller boat travels from Puerto San Carlos to the feeding sites of the striped marlin, and vice versa, there is the possibility of finding a great variety of marine animals; such as dolphins: bottlenose dolphin, coastal common dolphin, oceanic common dolphin, Pacific white-sided dolphin and killer whales; mobula mantas, sea lions; turtles: green turtle, black turtle, olive ridley turtle, loggerhead turtle and hawksbill turtle; sharks: blue shark, hammerhead shark, dusky shark, mako shark, thresher shark, silky shark, whale shark and white shark; whales: fin whale, gray whale, humpback whale, blue whale. In addition to a great diversity of seabirds.
